Darien Cheese and Fine Foods is one of the original cheese stores established in this country thirty six years ago. The goal has always been to offer the finest cheeses from around the world.

With the onset of the industrialized revolution and the standardization of our food we feel it is most important to focus our selection on the heart and soul of cheese making; the artisan cheese maker. Being a family business ourselves, we feel very connected to the family farmer. It has been our experience that cheeses responsibly made from un-pasteurized milk are truly a more enjoyable taste experience and a healthier natural food as well.

The ripening and aging of cheese to optimum serving condition is not a new subject to us. We have perfected this craft of our trade to a new level of expertise over the years.
